Studio & location
I’ve been photographing people for over twelve years — first on the streets of Riga with a borrowed film camera, then in a small daylight studio on Gallery Lane that slowly became home.
Every session starts with a conversation. We talk about who you are, what you want to remember and how the photographs will live — on a wall, in an album or on a magazine page.
What I believe
Light first
I plan every session around light — a north window, a single softbox or the last twenty minutes of sun.
People, not poses
We talk, walk and laugh. The frames you’ll love most usually happen between the “real” shots.
Made by hand
Every selected image is retouched and colour-graded by me — never outsourced, never filtered.
Built to last
Archival paper, pigment inks and frames that will still look right in thirty years.
